Asiimwe from Ankole region.
She loves cows so much that even her traditional dance imitates the long-horned cow called Ankole. Asiimwe’s beautiful traditional dress is the Mushanana. Asiimwe comes with a backpack to carry her in and a handcrafted toy. Her second outfit is made of Kitenge the traditional African fabric.
 
We are making amazing quality dolls in Uganda with almost 100 percent local resources. Because Uganda is a developing country, importation of supplies is not always reliable. Due to that reality please be forgiving with slight differences in skin tones, hair styles and African fabrics. The cultural dresses will always be the style appropriate to that tribe, but fabrics will change according to what is in the market.
