Nekesa is the sister to Wesonga from the Gisu tribe.
Nekesa loves to dance and cook. She comes with the iconic Gomesi dress worn by several tribes for any special occasion, especially weddings and holidays. Nekesa comes with a backpack to carry her in and a handcrafted toy. Her second outfit is made of Kitenge the traditional African fabric in Uganda.
 
We are making amazing quality dolls in Uganda with almost 100 percent local resources. Because Uganda is a developing country, importation of supplies is not always reliable. Due to that reality please be forgiving with slight differences in skin tones, hair styles and African fabrics. The cultural dresses will always be the style appropriate to that tribe, but fabrics will change according to what is in the market.
