Penelope comes from two or more different tribes mixed together. She has a rich experience of knowing and learning from two cultures at once. How about you, do your parents come from different tribes or countries like Penny?
She comes with her own backpack for you to carry her in, two sets of clothes made from Kitenge the local African cloth. She also comes with a hand-crafted Ugandan toy.
 
We are making amazing quality dolls in Uganda with almost 100 percent local resources. Because Uganda is a developing country, importation of supplies is not always reliable. Due to that reality please be forgiving with slight differences in skin tones, hair styles and African fabrics. The cultural dresses will always be the style appropriate to that tribe, but fabrics will change according to what is in the market.
